We are looking forward to hearing from Mary Jo Foster on Monday, August 10. She is fresh back from India ministering to Muslim and Hindu women. She is the founder and President of Mercy Triumphs International Ministries, which has an outreach called Compassion for Asia. She lives in North Richland Hills, TX, with her husband Mike. Mary Jo and Mike have recently opened a children’s home in New Delhi, India, with a vision to open up many more throughout India and Asia. They have a vision to see many women’s shelters for widows and abused women also opened. Mary Jo has a deep compassion for the Hindu and Muslim women in India. She recently completed her 2nd ministry trip to India where she held a two day “Spiritual Warfare” conference in new Delhi and “Inner Healing” conference to the Muslim women in Hyderabad, India.

With our mandate to pray for the Muslim women, this is a great chance to glean from “someone who has been in the front lines”. She has been there and done that, and she is continuing to do so. What an opportunity to come and learn how to reach these hurting women.

THE LORD'S BASEBALL GAME

Freddy and the Lord stood by to observe a baseball game. The Lord's team was playing Satan's team. The Lord's team was at bat, the score was tied zero to zero, and it was the bottom of the 9th inning with two outs. They continued to watch as a batter stepped up to the plate named 'Love.'

Love swung at the first pitch and hit a single, because 'Love never fails.'

The next batter was named Faith, who also got a single because Faith works with Love.

The next batter up was named Godly Wisdom. Satan wound up and threw the first pitch.

Godly Wisdom looked it over and let it pass: Ball one. Three more pitches and Godly Wisdom walked because he never swings at what Satan throws.

The bases were now loaded. The Lord then turned to Freddy and told him He was now going to bring in His star player. Up to the plate stepped Grace. Freddy said, 'He sure doesn't look like much!' Satan's whole team relaxed when they saw Grace.
Thinking he had won the game, Satan wound up and fired his first pitch. To the shock of everyone, Grace hit the ball harder than anyone had ever seen! But Satan was not worried; his center fielder let very few get by.

He went up for the ball, but it went right through his glove, hit him on the head and sent him crashing on the ground; The roaring crowds went wild as the ball continued over the fence . . For a home run!

The Lord's team won!

The Lord then asked Freddy if he knew why Love, Faith and Godly Wisdom could get on base but couldn't win the game. Freddy answered that he didn't know why..
The Lord explained, 'If your love, faith and wisdom had won the game, you would think you had done it by yourself. Love, Faith and Wisdom will get you on base but only My Grace can get you Home:

'For by Grace are you saved, it is a gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.' Ephesians 2:8-9

Psalm 84:11, 'For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.'

I do Love God. He is my source of existence and Savior. He keeps me functioning each and everyday. Without Him, I am nothing, but with him:
'I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.'

How's this for apocalyptic literature. This was written by a pastor's wife in biblical prose as a commentary of current events. It is Brilliant.

And it came to pass in the Age of Insanity that the people of the land called America , having lost their morals, their initiative,and their will to defend their liberties, chose as their Supreme Leader that person known as "The One".

He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning; but He hypnotized the people telling them, "I am sent to save you. My lack of experience, my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego, and my association with evil doers are of no consequence. For I shall save you with Hope and Change. Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout the land that he who preceded me is evil, that he has defiled the nation, and that all he has built must be destroyed." And the people rejoiced, for even though they knew not what "The One" would do, he had promised that it was good; and they believed.

And "The One" said "We live in the greatest country in the world. Help me change everything about it!"

And the people said, "Hallelujah! Change is good!"

Then He said, "We are going to tax the rich fat-cats." And the people said "Sock it to them!"

"And redistribute their wealth."

And the people said, "Show us the money!"

And then He said, "Redistribution of wealth is good for everybody"

And Joe the plumber asked, "Are you kidding me? You're going to steal my money and give it to the deadbeats??" And "The One" ridiculed and taunted him, and Joe's personal records were hacked and publicized.

One lone reporter asked, "Isn't that Marxist policy?" And she was banished from the kingdom!

Then a citizen asked, "With no foreign relations experience and having zero military experience or knowledge, how will you deal with radical terrorists?"

And "The One" said, "Simple. I shall sit with them and talk with them and show them how nice we really are; and they will forget that they ever wanted to kill us all!"

And the people said, "Hallelujah!! We are safe at last, and we can beat our weapons into free cars for the people!"

Then "The One" said, "I shall give 95% of you lower taxes."

And one, lone voice said, "But 40% of us don't pay ANY taxes."

So "The One" said, "Then I shall give you some of the taxes the fat-cats pay!"

And the people said, "Hallelujah!! Show us the money!"

Then "The One" said, "I shall tax your Capital Gains when you sell your homes!"

And the people yawned and the slumping housing market collapsed.

And He said, "I shall mandate employer- funded health care for EVERY worker and raise the minimum wage.. And I shall give every person unlimited healthcare and medicine and transportation to the clinics."

And the people said, "Give me some of that!"

Then he said, "I shall penalize employers who ship jobs overseas."

And the people said, "Where's my rebate check?"

Then "The One" said, "I shall bankrupt the coal industry and electricity rates will skyrocket!"

And the people said, "Coal is dirty, coal is evil, no more coal! But we don't care for that part about higher electric rates."

So "The One" said, "Not to worry.. If your rebate isn't enough to cover your expenses, we shall bail you out. Just sign up with ACORN and your troubles are over!"

Then He said, "Illegal immigrants feel scorned and slighted. Let's grant them amnesty,Social Security, free education, free lunches, free medical care, bi-lingual signs and guaranteed housing..."

And the people said, "Hallelujah!!" And they made him King!

And so it came to pass that employers, facing spiraling costs and ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and laid off workers. Others simply gave up and went out of business and the economy sank like unto a rock dropped from a cliff. The banking industry was destroyed. Manufacturing slowed to a crawl. And more of the people were without a means of support.

Then "The One" said, "I am the "The One" - The Messiah - and I'm here to save you! We shall just print more money so everyone will have enough!"

But our foreign trading partners said unto Him, "Wait a minute. Your dollar is not worth a pile of camel dung! You will have to pay more..."

And the people said, "Wait a minute. That is unfair!!"

And the world said, "Neither are these other idiotic programs you have embraced. Lo, you have become a Socialist state and a second-rate power. Now you shall play by our rules!"

And the people cried out, "Alas, alas!! What have we done?"

But yea verily, it was too late. The people set upon "The One" and spat upon him and stoned him, and his name was dung. And the once mighty nation was no more; and the once proud people were without sustenance or shelter or hope. And the Change "The One" had given them was as like unto a poison that had destroyed them and like a whirlwind that consumed all that they had built.

And the people beat their chests in despair and cried out in anguish, "Give us back our nation and our pride and our hope!!" But it was too late, and their homeland was no more.

You may think this is a fairy tale, but it's not.

King Obama: House Considers Repealing 22nd Amendment

Earlier this year, Rep. Jose Serrano, D-N.Y. introduced H. J. Res. 5, a bill that would repeal the Constitution's 22nd Amendment, which prohibits a president from being elected to more than two terms in office, thus potentially paving the way to make Barack Obama president for life. Not surprisingly, the corporate media currently caught up in Obama-mania has not covered this story.

Will George W. Bush end up being the last true U.S. President, asked Sher Zieve, writing for the Canadian Free Press on January 14? As I warned you on multiple times prior to the 2008 General Election, once Obama is elected, we won't be able to get rid of him. Tragically, this warning is now being realized. Not only has Obama established his election-fraud organization ACORN nationwide, his adherents have now begun the process to repeal the U.S. Constitution's 22nd Amendment.

A Day of Repentance

2 Chronicles 7:14-16 If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.

Strategic prayer leaders across America share a sense of urgency to call for prayer at a national level. Now is the time to humble ourselves, seek God’s face, repent, turn from wickedness and implore God to hear our prayers and to heal our land. A key component of this corporate national prayer is repentance and intercession for the Church in accordance with the Declaration of Repentance which can be viewed at www.daysofrepentance.org

We believe that the Day of Repentance will serve as a catalyst for the Promise Keepers’ conference event that will begin Friday evening, July 31 and also for the Church worldwide as a necessary step in seeing the Glory of God cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14)

Please note: you still need to register for A Day of Repentance even if you have already registered for the Promise Keepers conference event that begins Friday evening. Even though this is a free event and open to all, it is important to register to assist in the logistic preparations.

2. Pray!

Wherever you are, set aside special time on July 31 to pray in accordance with the Declaration of Repentance. Whether you meet with a prayer partner, or a prayer group, or you meet with God alone, take time to humble yourself and pray.

Tuesday afternoon... (7/24/08)

Carol Torrance just called with a prayer update on Kay Peel (please see email below)

Kay seemed to be doing ok and they sent her home from the hospital. Now there has been a complication. She had surgery today as there was an infection. The doctors removed part of her skull and she needs our prayers.

Please pray for Carol T. also. She is very tired and has a lot going on. She really needs our prayer also!

I checked on Pennie last night after her dental surgery. She was doing pretty well but having problems with dizziness. I will check with her later and send an update. Please pray that there will be no complications or infection.

I thank all of you for your faithfulness to pray...

Please put Kay Peel (this is my brother Kenneth's) ex wife on the prayer list. She was life flighted to Dallas with a brain aneurysm and she also has one on the other side of her brain. They did surgery and she will probably be in ICU for 3-4 weeks.

My daughter cannot grow up!

"Can you please call me during the day time"? She whispered. "My husband is at home and I cannot talk to you but I need to!" This was Nazi who lives in a very religious city where people come to request healing from a shrine of a dead imam (ascendant of Mohammad Prophet of Muslims). I was finally able to speak to her and find out she was following closely our TV programs . In the course of our conversation she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She said," I took my 13 year old daughter to the best specialist in our city (mentioning the name of this famous doctor). They said there is no hope for her. She stopped growing and she is very short for her age. Do you think Jesus can heal my daughter?"Also, my husband is a regular worker and our finances are so down. Can you pray for this too?" I told her just by faith on what Jesus did on the cross and the power of His name we can pray…Two weeks later, Nazi called us so surprised," You cannot believe what I am going to say!!" After prayers, in the last two weeks, my daughter grew at least 6 centimeters and it is very noticeable. Also, my husband became the manager of the shop! He is not any longer a simple worker but the boss!! It is amazing. I shared all these miracles with my sister and brother. They began watching your programs, and become followers of Jesus and prayed the prayers at the end of your program (invitation of people to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior at the end of each program) So my husband's attitude is much better…beside sharing with my brother and sister, I told other friends about what Jesus has done for my family in the past two weeks I received Him as my Lord and Savior, and they have prayer requests. May I share them with you?" Nazi continued. With such a joy and expectancy in her voice she began to share a long list of her family and friends prayer requests…Praise the Lord!

Sense of Urgency – Now

A number of strategic prayer leaders across America share a sense of urgency to call for a convocation of prayer at a national level. Now is the time to humble ourselves, seek God’s face, repent, turn from wickedness and implore God to hear our prayers and to heal our land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

With that in mind, Promise Keepers and Aglow International, along with other national ministries have contemplated a time of repentance that would precede the Promise Keepers’ national stadium gathering in Boulder, Colorado on Friday July 31. PK has already secured facilities at Folsom Field in Boulder and has made that facility available for such a timely event.
